SHOE CARE GUIDE

CARING FOR LEATHER SHOES

1.) Clean. Leather shoes should be cleaned regularly to maintain their look and durability. Brush off any dirt with a soft shoe brush or cloth to prepare them for polishing. Apply an even coating of shoe lotion to condition the leather, making sure to cover any obvious marks or scrapes.

2.) Dry: Leave polish to dry naturally with newspaper inside to assist in soaking up moisture. Do not use any artificial heat source to dry the shoe as this may ruin the leather.

3.) Polish and Buff: Now it’s time to bring some shine! Apply an even coating of shoe polish, making sure to match the colour of the shoe. Buff in with a cloth until the coating turns from matt to polished.

CARING FOR TRAINERS

1.) Clean. Dampen a soft brush or cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe any dirt or grime from the shoe, be sure not to over saturate the shoe. Remove the innersole to air out.

2.) Dry: Leave polish to dry naturally with newspaper inside to assist in soaking up moisture. Do not use any artificial heat source to dry the shoe as this may ruin the upper.

3.) Waterproof: After your shoes have dried, protect them from future dirt and water exposure by applying a waterproofing agent. Handy Tip! Check out our selection machine washable children’s trainers.

CARING FOR NUBUCK AND SUEDE
